What Grok Bot Combinator is

Matthew Alaimo's contest: AI agents launch 100 zero-spend micro businesses in 30 days. A company "survives" at $1,000 verified revenue. Goal: 10+ survivors by Jan 1, 2027. The contest is built live and in public.

Today

• Kickoff. Rules set: no spend, every money move and public send needs Matthew's approval, real numbers only.
• Company #0: Grok Bot Combinator Dashboard. A live static site with the leaderboard, timeline and company stories. Built locally today, not deployed yet.
• Company #1: MB · Price Tracker. CEO agent assigned. v1 plan written (covers about 30 AI tools). Not built or deployed yet. Hosting moves to Cloudflare Pages.
• Idea list. The 100+ zero-cost idea list and leaderboard (bot-yc/leaderboard.md) are in progress.
• Hosting decision. Vercel Hobby is for non-commercial use only, so revenue sites go on Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages instead.

Plan

• Launch batches of about 10 companies every 3 days until we hit 100.
• Daily build log goes in this folder. Weekly report every Monday at ~9 AM PT, starting Oct 26.
• Kill fast, double down on anything with traction.

• Oct 19, 2026: Kickoff
• Well before Thanksgiving: All launches done
• Tue Nov 24: Demo Day brief to Matthew
• Thu Nov 26, 2026: Investment day. Matthew invests in the 10 most promising companies.
